Applied partnered with Princeton University to design and develop a unique app for the campus. Its primary objective is to make the Princeton campus as inclusive as possible to navigate.
The app tackles accessibility challenges that people face when traversing the campus’s naturally sloped topography and stepped areas. The campus is expanding and undergoing development in key areas, and the app allows people to plan trips from A to B with minimal impact by under-construction areas.
The app complements the on-campus wayfinding system that Applied developed, and is part of Applied’s long term vision for integrating and connecting Princeton’s campus navigation services for students, staff and visitors.
