Sometimes people get lost in buildings. You think about how they shouldn’t.
If wayfinding, navigation, and visual storytelling are your craft, this might be your next move.
We’re looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Graphic Designer to join our growing creative team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone at the start of their design career who is eager to develop their skills and make a real impact.
About us
Working at Applied means working on all aspects of the design process. From user research, through strategy and concept, to detailed design and implementation. We are looking for designers who are highly motivated and passionate, with a keen graphic eye and ambition to deliver projects of the highest quality.
We’re looking for conceptual thinkers with a strong graphic/typographic focus, who have the discipline and ambition to turn their concepts into refined design solutions as part of the information systems we deliver.
You don’t need prior wayfinding experience. We’re looking for exceptional graphic designers who are fluent in screen design and eager to experiment – applying their skills to navigation across digital interfaces, the built environment, and new visual formats.
You will be joining our established office in Angel, London. The role will be predominantly studio based though we do offer some flexibility for home working. Although you’d be based in London, your projects will be anywhere in the world. We are currently working with clients in seven time zones, in cities, districts, transport networks, airports, campuses, complexes, open spaces and buildings, for some of the biggest and smallest companies in the world. All are complex, and all are looking for us to help them.
